Dilma: “Attack on Lula is unacceptable”
President warns of violence against Caravan “Lula pelo Brasil” (Lula through Brazil) and announces that she will denounce worldwidly, intimidation attempt.

The attack in the late afternoon of Tuesday, March 27, against a former president of the country is serious and occurs at a difficult time for Brazil.
The attempt to intimidate President Lula and Caravan “Lula pelo Brazil”, with gunfire and aggression, is unacceptable.
We are no longer in the fifties of the last century, or in the military dictatorship, when the physical elimination of political opponents was a constant in Brazil and Latin America. This practice cannot be tolerated.
Such attacks won’t intimidate Democrats and political activists.
Fascism is intolerable and will be denounced by all of us, who believe in social justice and politics as an instrument of transformation of reality.
All solidarity with Lula and the members of the Caravan who are being attacked.
We will be denouncing in all corners of Brazil and the world this vile attempt to silence all who oppose arbitration and the State of Exception in Brazil.
