Boletim 105 – Comitê Popular em Defesa de Lula e da Democracia

1 – Terminou hoje o Congresso Extraordinário da Juventude do PT, em São José dos Pinhais, na Grande Curitiba. Foram três dias de deliberações e muitos debates. A nova diretoria que emerge do encontro, encabeçada por Ronald Sorriso, da corrente CNB, tem entre seus membros companheiros de todas as tendências da JPT. A unidade alcançada tem por objetivo unir todas as forças da Juventude do PT em nome da principal luta do ano: tirar Lula de seu cárcere político para, sendo a vontade do povo, elegê-lo presidente do Brasil mais uma vez.

2 – Militantes e políticos do Partido dos Trabalhadores na Paraíba realizaram ato neste domingo para marcar o lançamento da pré-candidatura de Lula a presidente. A concentração aconteceu no mercado público de Mangabeira, na zona sul de João Pessoa. De acordo com o deputado estadual Anísio Maia, o ato alcançou o objetivo: “Hoje, o vermelho tomou conta de João Pessoa. Fomos às ruas dizer que temos só uma opção de voto para a Presidência do Brasil: Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva!”. O pré-lançamento oficial do nome de Lula para disputar a Presidência pelo PT acontece na próxima sexta-feira (8), em Contagem, na Grande Belo Horizonte.

3 – Na Vigília #LulaLivre, quem deu Boa Noite ao ex-presidente neste domingo, junto com a militância, foram o deputado federal Marco Maia (PT-RS) e o presidente do PT-PR, Dr. Rosinha. O parlamentar lembrou que é a quarta vez que participa do boa noite ao ex-presidente Lula e afirmou que continuará indo até que o ex-presidente seja libertado.

4 – Hoje, teve #LulaLivre no amistoso Brasil x Croácia em Liverpool, na Inglaterra. Torcedores do Liverpool foram ao estádio portando faixas com a mensagem #FreeLula e denunciando sua condição de preso político – ‘’Lula – Prisional Prisoner’’. Do lado de fora do estádio, um grupo de manifestantes se colocou próximo da equipe da TV Globo e mostrou também faixas com a inscrição #FreeLula. Vejas as fotos.

5 – A Parada Gay de São Paulo, uma das maiores do mundo, com centenas de milhares de participantes, encheu a avenida Paulista neste domingo com as cores da diversidade e da resistência. Bandeiras com o arco-íris, símbolo do movimento gay, foram ornamentadas com o rosto de Lula e pedidos por Justiça e eleições justas, com a participação do ex-presidente. Outros políticos, como o presidente ilegítimo, Michel Temer, e o prefeito de São Paulo, Bruno Covas, receberam apenas as vaias do público. Veja fotos.

Bulletin 105 – People’s Committee in Defence of Lula and Democracy

1. The extraordinary PT Youth Congress ended today in São José dos Pinhais, in greater Curitiba. It was three days of deliberations and heated debates. The new directorate that emerged from the event, headed by Ronald Sorriso, from the CNB caucus, has comrades from all the internal blocs from the PT Youth. The rare unity achieved has, as its objective, united all of the youth forces of the PT in name of the main struggle of the year: removing Lula from his political imprisonment so that, with the will of the people, he is elected President of Brazil once again.

2. Activists and politicians from the Workers Party in Paraiba held a demonstration this Sunday to commemorate the launching of Lula’s name as pre-candidate for the presidency. The crowd gathered in the Mangabeira public market on the South side of João Pessoa. According to State Congressman Anisio Maia, the act achieved its objective: “today João Pessoa was covered in red. We went to the streets to say that we only have one option to vote for the Brazilian presidency – Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.” The official pre-launching of his candidacy for the presidency for PT will take place on Friday, June 8th in Contagem, in Greater Belo Horizonte.

3. Congressmen Marco Maia (PT-Rio Grande do Sul) and Paraná State PT President Dr. Rosinha, led the “good night” yell to the ex-President this Sunday at the #LulaLivre Vigil. The Congressman said that this is the fourth time he’s participated in the good night yell to ex-President Lula and affirmed that he will continue coming until Lula is free.

4. Today there were #LulaLivre yells in the friendly between Brazil and Croatia in Liverpool, England. Fans from Liverpool went to the stadium carrying banners with messages like, “Free Lula” and “Lula-Political Prisoner”, denouncing his arbitrary imprisonment. Outside the stadium, another group of activists gathered behind the Globo TV crew and raised “Free Lula” banners. See photos here.

5. The São Paulo Gay Parade, one of the world’s largest with hundreds of thousands of participants, filled Paulista Avenue this morning with the colors of diversity and resistance. Rainbow flags, symbol of the LGBTQI movement were decorated with Lula’s image and demands to the Judiciary for fair elections with the participation of the ex-President. Other politicians, like illegitimate President Michel Temer and São Paulo Mayor Bruno Covas, were only booed by the public. See photos here.
