1. A presidenta legitimamente eleita Dilma Rousseff participou neste sábado do Brazil Forum UK 2018, evento organizado por estudantes brasileiros no Reino Unido. Na conferência, sediada na London School of Economics, Dilma foi calorosamente recebida pelo público aos gritos de “presidenta! presidenta!”, denunciou a perseguição ao ex-presidente Lula e reafirmou a candidatura dele em outubro. “O PT não vai tirar o Lula e nem vai oferecer outro candidato. Nós sustentamos a condição de inocente do Lula e não pode um inocente ser retirado do pleito por nós”, garantiu Dilma.

2. A indígena Sônia Guajajara, pré-candidata à vice-presidência da República pelo PSol, visitou a Vigília #LulaLivre na manhã desse sábado. “Vim aqui defender o direito de Lula ser candidato”, disse Sônia em um ato na praça Olga Benário. “O povo é maioria e tem força. A gente não vai recuar”, reforçou.

3. Lula enviou carta aos participantes da 3ª Feira da Reforma Agrária, que ocorre em São Paulo desde o dia 3 de maio e segue até este domingo (6). A carta do maior líder popular da história do Brasil foi lida durante a conferência “Alimentação Saudável: um direito de todos e de todas” e emocionou as milhares de pessoas presentes na manhã deste sábado (5) no Parque da Água Branca. “Eu já estive duas vezes na Feira Nacional da Reforma Agrária em São Paulo. Esse ano não posso estar com vocês. Mas espero em breve estarmos juntos de novo, construindo o país melhor, pelo qual sonhamos e seguimos na luta”, diz trecho da carta de Lula.

4. Atores e atrizes da peça Krum visitaram a Vigília Lula livre na manhã deste sábado. Eles trouxerem apoio ao presidente Lula e ainda deram uma força para servir o almoço para o pessoal. “Aproveitamos que estamos com a peça em cartaz em Curitiba e viemos trazer nossa solidariedade ao pessoal da Vigília e ao Lula, com cinco profissionais da peça”, disse Inês Viana, atriz e diretora do Rio de Janeiro.

5. O ex-prefeito de Hortolândia (SP), Ângelo Perugini (PDT), e o ex-prefeito de Pouso Alegre (MG), Agnaldo Perugini, visitaram o acampamento Marisa Letícia na tarde deste sábado.

6. Ao longo de quase 30 dias da Vigília Democrática #LulaLivre, milhares de pessoas tem circulado todos os dias pela esquina Olga Benário. Desde o início do acampamento, já foram recebidas mais de 1,5 toneladas de alimentos não perecíveis, além de carnes e vegetais frescos. No período mais movimentado do acampamento foram servidas em média 1,4 mil almoços e 1,4 mil jantares diariamente. Além disso, já são quase 5 mil cartas escritas para o ex-presidente Lula. Visitantes do Equador, México, Itália, Colômbia, Guatemala, Argentina, França, Estados Unidos, Inglaterra e Noruega já passaram por aqui para manifestar apoio e solidariedade a Lula e a mulheres e homens de todos os estados brasileiros que estão acampados em defesa da democracia.

7. A Caravana #LulaLivre Piauí iniciou nesta sexta-feira (4) a sua quarta viagem pelo estado. O roteiro deste fim de semana tem: Pau D’Arco, Beneditinos, Alto Longá, São João da Serra, Novo Santo Antonio, Coivaras, Altos, Sigefredo Pacheco, Juazeiro, Castelo, Buriti dos Montes, São Miguel do Tapuio e Assunção. Somando as etapas anteriores, a caravana já soma 46 municípios do Piauí percorridos. A meta é andar em todo o estado levando a denúncia da prisão política de Lula, ouvindo os moradores e reforçando a luta por justiça e democracia. Participam de cada etapa da caravana parlamentares e militantes do movimento popular e sindical que em cada cidade recebem a adesão de prefeitos, estudantes, trabalhadores, comerciantes e artistas populares.

8. A sessão de cinema de hoje será na Quadra Superação, junto à Vigília Democrática, logo após o Boa Noite ao presidente. Na programação, “Na Missão com Kadu”, de Aiano Bemfica, Kadu Freitas e Pedro Maia de Brito, “Peripatético”, de Jessica Queiroz, e “Nóis por Nóis”, de Aly Muritiba e Jandir Santin.

1. The legitimately elected president Dilma Rousseff participated in the Forum UK 2018, an event organized by Brazilian students in the United Kingdom, this Saturday. During the conference, headquartered in the London School of Economics, Dilma was warmly received by the public with yells of “President, President!”. She denounced the persecution of ex-President Lula and reaffirmed that he will be a candidate this October. “The PT will not remove Lula from the ballot and will not nominate another candidate. We affirm the conditions of Lula’s innocence and we cannot remove an innocent person from our ticket,” said Dilma.

2. Sônia Guajajara, pre-Candidate for Vice President of the Republic for PSOL, visited the #LulaLivre camp during the morning of this Saturday. “I came here to defend the right of Lula to be a candidate,” said Sônia during a protest on Olga Benário corner. The people are in the majority and have power. The people will not back down,” she said.

3. Lula sent a letter to the participants of the 3rd Agrarian Reform Fair, which started in São Paulo on May 3rd and will continue until this Sunday (May 6). The letter from the greatest popular leader in Brazilian history was read during the “Healthy Food: a right of everyone,” conference and it inspired the thousands of people present at the event this Saturday morning (May 5th) in Agua Branca park in São Paulo. “I’ve been to the Agrarian Reform Fair in São Paulo twice. This year I can’t be there with you. But I hope to be together with you again soon, building a better country that we dream of and continue fighting for,” says a passage from Lula’s letter.

4. Actors and actresses from the Krum play visited the Lula Livre Vigil this Saturday morning. They came to support President Lula and helped out by serving lunch to the people. “We are taking advantage of our time performing here in Curitiba to show our solidarity with the people at the Vigil and with Lula, with 5 of our actors from the play,” said Inês Viana, actress and director from Rio de Janeiro.

5. The mayor of Hortolândia (São Paulo) Ângelo Perugini (PDT) and the ex-mayor of Pouso Alegre (Minas Gerais), Agnaldo Perugini, visited the Marisa Leticia camp this Saturday afternoon.

6. During the nearly 30 days since the #LulaLivre Democratic Vigil began, thousands of people have circulated through the Olga Benário corner every day. Since the beginning of the camp, it has received over 1.5 tons of non perishable food items, as well as meat and fresh vegetables. During the busiest periods at the camp it served an average of 1400 lunches and 1400 dinners per day. Furthermore, nearly 5000 letters have been delivered to ex-President Lula. Visitors to the camp have come from Ecuador, Mexico, Italy, Colombia, Guatemala, Argentina, France, The United States, England and Norway to show their solidarity with Lula and the thousands of men and women from every state in Brazil who are camped out in defense of democracy.

7. The #LulaLivre Piauí Caravan began its fourth trip through the state on this Friday (May 4th). This weekend it will pass through the towns of Pau D´Arco, Alto Longá, São João de Serra, Novo Santo Antonio, Coivaras, Altos, Sigefredo Pacheco, Juazeiro, Castelo, Buriti das Montes, São Miguel de Tapuio and Assunção. Including the earlier stages, the Caravan has now visited 46 towns and cities in Piauí. The goal is to visit every town in the state to denounce the political imprisonment of Lula, to listen to the residents and to strengthen the fight for justice and democracy. Congressmen and activists from the social movements and unions have participated in every stage of the caravan and they are welcomed in every town they go to by Mayors, students, workers, musicians and local business owners.

8. The movie session tonight will take place in the Superação Quadra near the Democratic Vigil camp immediately following the “good night” yell to the President. Tonight’s showing will feature, “Na Missão com Kadu”, by Aiano Bemfica and Pedro Maia de Brito, “Peripatético”, by Jessica Queiroz, and “Nois por Nois” by Aly Muritiba and Jandir Santin.
