Boletim 114 – Comitê Popular em Defesa de Lula e da Democracia

1.Representantes da Federação Única dos Petroleiros de diversos estados estiveram na manhã desta terça-feira no Acampamento Olga Benário, nas imediações da sede da Polícia Federal, em Curitiba, para participar do “Bom Dia” ao ex-presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, detido há 67 dias como preso político. Eles reforçaram o apoio ao ex-presidente, defenderam sua liberdade e criticaram o governo Michel Temer pelo desmonte da Petrobras e a entrega das riquezas nacionais, em especial o petróleo do pré-sal, a grupos estrangeiros. 2. Após a saudação matinal a Lula, os dirigentes sindicais seguiram para a sede do Sindipetro Paraná/Santa Catarina, onde definirão os próximos passos da luta dos petroleiros contra a privatização do Sistema Petrobrás. O coordenador-geral da FUP, Simão Zanardi, frisou que o País passa por um momento extremamente grave. O sindicalista alertou que a situação é muito crítica, porque a Petrobrás foi atacada e, com ela, desmontada toda uma cadeia de empregos que existia no país, levando o sofrimento e a desesperança ao povo brasileiro.

3. A Confederação Nacional dos Trabalhadores em Educação (CNTE) vai organizar em Curitiba-PR, amanhã (13/06), um Ato de Solidariedade Internacional ao ex-presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. O ato, por Lula e um país livre, aponta a educação como caminho para a defesa intransigente da democracia no Brasil. Uma das presenças confirmadas é a de David Edwards, secretário-geral da Internacional da Educação, entidade sediada em Bruxelas na Bélgica, que representa milhares de educadores do mundo inteiro.

1. Representatives of the Unified Federation of Petroleum Workers (FUP) from several states came to the Olga Benario Camp near the Federal Police headquarters this Tuesday morning (June 12) to participate in the “Good Morning” yell to ex-President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who has been held as a political prisoner for 67 days. They reinforced the support for the ex-President, defended his freedom and criticized the Michel Temer government for dismantling Petrobras state petroleum company and handing over national resources, especially the pre-salt offshore petroleum reserves, to foreign groups. 2. After the morning greeting to Lula, the union directors headed to the Sindepetro Union’s Paraná/Santa Catarina headquarters, where they defined the next steps in the petroleum workers’ struggle against the privatization of the Petrobras System. The general coordinator of FUP, Simão Zanardi, stressed that the Nation is passing through an extremely grave moment. The union leader warned that the situation is very critical because Petrobras was attacked and, with that, they dismantled an entire employment chain that existed in the country, bringing suffering and despair to the Brazilian people.

3. The National Confederation of Education Workers (CNTE) is organizing a solidarity demonstration in Curitiba tomorrow, June 13th, for ex-President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The demonstration will be for Lula and a free nation and will point to education as the path for intransigent defense of democracy in Brazil. David Edwards, General Secretary of the Education International, headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, which represents millions of teachers around the World, is one of the leaders who has confirmed his participation in the event.
