Boletim 121 – Comitê Popular em Defesa de Lula e da Democracia

1. O advogado José Roberto Batochio passou pela Vigília no momento do ato de boa tarde ao ex-presidente Lula desta terça feira. “Viemos visitar nosso presidente de sempre. Haverá de nascer no horizonte o sol da liberdade e teremos a oportunidade de fazer eleições democráticas no nosso País, pois sem Lula não serão eleições democráticas”, disse o advogado que faz parte da defesa de Lula.

2. O presidente do PT do Paraná e um dos coordenadores da Vigília Lula Livre em Curitiba, Doutor Rosinha, participou nesta terça-feira do programa “Democracia em Rede”, produzido e transmitido pela Casa da Democracia, coletivo de mediativistas que integra a resistência democrática em Curitiba. Rosinha, que foi deputado federal por quatro mandatos, falou sobre a readequação da Vigília, com a retirada de duas das quatro tendas de apoio, e da sua pré-candidatura ao governo do Paraná.

3. A presença de lideranças religiosas continuou forte nesta terça-feira, após visita do Frei Sérgio Gorgen ontem. A Irmã Cleide Fontes liderou uma roda de conversa com o povo da Vigília sobre desigualdades sociais no campo e nas cidades. Em seguida o poeta Chocolate declamou versos de seu livro “Vida, Luta e Poesia”.

4. Antes do boa noite ao ex-presidente Lula, Florisvaldo Sousa pediu uma manifestação de solidariedade à senadora Gleisi Hoffman, que começou a ser julgada pelo STF nesta terça feira. “É outro processo sem prova, baseado apenas na indústria da delação. Temos que estar vigilantes. A única forma de cessar essa perseguição é libertar Lula e leva-lo para o Palácio do Planalto”, disse Florisvaldo, ex-secretário nacional de Organização do PT.

5. A luta pela liberdade de Lula transbordou para além da Vigília nesta terça feira. Um grupo de advogados de Curitiba fez uma vaquinha e instalou pela cidade quatro outdoors em defesa do ex-presidente.

1. The lawyer José Roberto Batochio visited the Vigil during the “good afternoon” yell to ex-President Lula on this Tuesday. “We came to visit our forever President. The Sun of freedom will rise on the horizon and we will have the opportunity to hold democratic elections in our country, because without Lula there will not be democratic elections,” said Batochio, a lawyer who works on Lula’s defense team.

2. This Tuesday, June 16th, Doutor Rosinha, who is Paraná State PT President and one of the coordinators of the Lula Livre Vigil in Curitiba, participated in the “Democracy Network” program, which is produced and transmitted by the Casa da Democracia, a media activist collective that comprises part of the democratic resistance in Curitiba. Rosinha, who was a Congressman for 4 mandates, talked about restructuring the Vigil now that two of four of the support tents have been taken down, and about his pre-candidacy for Governor of Paraná.

3. On this Tuesday, the presence of religious leaders continued strongly, after the visit by Father Sérgio Gorgen yesterday. Sister Cleide Fontes faciliatated a group conversation with the people in the Vigil about social inequality in the city and the country. Afterwords the poet, Chocolate, read verses from his book, Vida, Luta e Poesia(Life, Struggle and Poetry).

4. Before the “good night” yell to Lula, Florisvaldo Sousa asked for a solidarity demonstration for Senator Gleisi Hoffman, whose trial began in the Federal Supreme Court on this Tuesday. “It is another case with no proof, based entirely on the plea-bargain industry. We have to be vigilant. The only way to stop this persecution of Lula is to bring him back to the Presidential Palace,” said Florisvaldo, ex-national Secretary of Organization of the PT.

5. The struggle for freedom for Lula spilled out beyond the Vigil this Tuesday. A group of lawyers pooled their money and set up four billboards in Curitiba in defense of the ex-President.
