CNV divulga documentos dos EUA sobre a ditadura no Brasil
Documentos foram entregues após a visita do vice-presidente americano, Joe Biden, no mês passado.

A Comissão Nacional da Verdade (CNV) recebeu do Ministério das Relações Exteriores uma série de documentos do governo dos Estados Unidos da América (EUA) sobre a ditadura militar no Brasil. Ao todo, são 43 relatórios referentes ao período de janeiro de 1967 a dezembro de 1977 redigidos pelo Departamento de Estado daquele país.
Segundo a CNV, os documentos estão em inglês e podem conter informações ainda não conhecidas nas investigações do órgão.
Entre elas, dados sobre dom Hélder Câmara, as relações da igreja com os militares, a morte Stuart Angel – filho de Zuzu Angel, torturas, prisões políticas, o sequestro do embaixador americano e diversos fatos ocorridos nesse nebuloso período da história brasileira.
