Boletim 46 – Comitê Popular em Defesa de Lula e da Democracia

1. Hoje o “bom dia, Lula” contou com a participação de militantes de diferentes estados que continuam chegando no acampamento a todo momento. Um show de violas abriu a agenda do dia. Francielle Costacurta, do coletivo Feminista, lançou seu livro “Poética Livre” e logo depois teve o debate “O combate ao racismo em tempos de golpe”, com Edson França, vice presidente da Unegro.

2- Os preparativos para o 1 de maio, que esse ano será realizado em Curitiba, já estao a toda! Após o “Bom dia, Lula” a militância vai se concentrar a partir das 14h na praça Santos Andrade onde será realizado o ato que será em defesa de Lula Livre e contra as reformas trabalhista e previdenciária.

3. Hoje o mundo celebra a data da Revolução dos Cravos de Portugal e no Teatro Oficina de São Paulo ocorrerá um grande ato em prol da democracia e da liberdade de Lula. Às 18h30 estarão reunidos nesse espaço, que foi palco de enorme importância na resistência contra a ditadura, lideranças políticas e referências do mundo das artes, da academia e de outros setores da sociedade brasileira. Entre os que já confirmaram presença estão Fernando Haddad, ex-prefeito de São Paulo, o economista e ex-ministro Luiz Carlos Bresser-Pereira, o ator Sergio Mamberti, a atriz Letícia Sabatella, o cantor Paulo Miklos, o presidente estadual do PT, Luiz Marinho, a desembargadora Kenarik Boujikian, a psicanalista Maria Rita Kehl, o escritor Fernando Morais, o ex-ministro da Justiça José Eduardo Martins Cardozo e o presidente da CUT Nacional, Vagner Freitas. 4. Nesta quinta-feira (26) Montevidéu sediará um ato de solidariedade ao presidente Lula. Participarão da atividade, que é organizada por setores da Frente Ampla do Uruguai, parlamentares do Brasil, Argentina, Bolívia, Paraguai, Venezuela e do país anfitrião que formam a Bancada Progressista do Parlamento do Mercosul.

1-Today the “good morning, Lula” yell featured the participation of activists from different states who continue to arrive in the camp at all moments of the day and night. The morning’s activities started off with a folk music show of steel string guitars. Francielle Costacurta, from the Feminista collective, launched her book Poética Livre and afterward a debate took place, facilitated by Unegro Vice President Edson Franco, entitled “Fighting racism in times of Coup”.

2-The preparations for the May 1 protest, which will take place in Curitiba this year, are underway. After a giant “Good Morning!” to Lula, the protesters will meet at 2 PM on Santos Andrade square, where there will be a protest in defense of liberty for Lula and against the labor and retirement reforms.

3-Today the World celebrates the anniversary of the Carnation Revolution in Portugal and there will be a big protest in favor of democracy and freedom for Lula at Oficina Theater in São Paulo. Activists will arrive at the theater, which played an enormously important role in the resistance against the dictatorship and is a reference inthe World of arts, the academy and other sectors of Brazilian society. 4-This Thursday, April 26, there will be a solidarity protest for President Lula in Montevideo, Uruguay. The protest was organized by sectors of the Frente Ampla popular front in Uruguay and parliamentarians from the Mercosur progressive caucus from Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Venezuela and the host country will participate in the event.
